@cariad AFAIK their previous system issued digital copies of physical books that they had access to through partner libraries, if the library had 5 copies then IA used to also lend it out to 5 people at a time. During COVID they changed that to remove this self-imposed limit which resulted in the current lawsuit. I can sympathize with why they thought this was a necessity with library access being limited by COVID lockdowns but it's just theft.
