I am sure there's a perfectly legitimate answer to why my Git server should be getting 130K hits in 16 hours.

The graph for the security rule I deployed to prevent Chinese and Vietnamese IPs from scraping the service. It has mitigated 131.73K requests in the past 16 hours and has seen a near-consistent ~8K requests per hour in just pure blocks.
